Accumulated over the last two centuries, the silverware collection of the Coronini house is impressive due to its extraordinary richness and variety. Although there is no lack of objects by the Trieste-born Federico Guglielmo Edoardo Bünger or Viennese silversmiths such as the imperial purveyor Josef Carl Klinkosch, there are substantial core collections of Russian, English and French pieces, originating from some important inheritances from the early 20th century.
Scandinavian, German, Italian and some Swiss, Indian and Tunisian pieces further complement the collection, providing evidence of gifts or purchases.
In addition to table silverware, sacred objects (pyxes, chalices, monstrances), smoking accessories (snuff boxes, cigarette and match holders) and toiletries also form part of the collection.
