The picture gallery consists of around 1,200 works dating from the 15th to the 20th century, with sections on sacred paintings, genre paintings, mythological scenes, landscapes and panoramas.
The most substantial body of work is that of the portraits, comprising almost two hundred works, depicting emperors, princes but also, above all, family figures: commanders, politicians and diplomats, alongside fascinating female effigies.
In the Coronini collection, prominent names include Prospero Fontana, Rosalba Carriera, Elisabeth Vigèe Le Brun, Giuseppe Tominz, Angelo Inganni, Antonio Joli, Arturo Rietti and Tullio Crali.
